It is useless to resist, little Star Wars Itty Bittys from Hallmark will easily warm any collector’s cold Hoth heart. Tiny and adorable, these 4-inch plush capture the essence of each Star Wars characterâs most kawaii of traits.
The mini plush are priced at just $6.95, making individual Itty Bittys easy to collect, while boxed sets are priced around $29.95. Since their debut at the end of 2013, Hallmarkâs Itty Bittys have been a huge success and the Star Wars line just keeps growing. In a genius marketing move for Valentineâs Day, Hallmark released a two-set of Han Solo and Princess Leia Itty Bittys holding hands. Fans swooned and couldnât wait for more. Soon individual Itty Bittys followed, including Chewbacca, Yoda, Darth Vader and R2-D2. Thereâs also a collector’s set of four that includes Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, Obi-Wan Kenobi and a Jawa.
Collectors need to be at the ready because at this yearâs Star Wars Celebration, Hallmark is releasing a Con-exclusive two-pack of bounty hunters Bossk and Dengar, who never looked so cute. This exclusive is extremely limited as there will only be 550 available per day at the Hallmark booth at Star Wars Celebration.
If you miss out, donât worry: the best is yet to come. Hallmark revealed their wintery summer plans in their new collectorâs brochure that shows a boxed Hoth set (insert screams of joy) that includes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, a Taun Taun and a Wampa! No word on whether or not Luke fits in the mini Taun Taun but that would be amazing. The Hoth four-pack comes out in August along with an individual Stormtrooper.
Finally, we round out the year as our favorite characters get the holiday treatment. Chewbacca, Yoda, Artoo and Threepio all get some form of Christmas attire for a holiday season, as they are adorned with Santa hats, candy canes, reindeer ears and scarves.
All of this cuteness may be too much to bear, but remember the Itty Bittys will be with you, always.
