New Pixies song? New Pixies song:
It’s been nine years since we’ve heard new Pixies music and longer since we got an album, but they’re back with a new track, which is good news. The sound’s instantly recognizable, Charles/Francis/Frank talk/singing over Joey Santiago’s signature guitar sound and David Lovering’s drumming. But Kim Deal’s gone, so it’s Jeremy Dubs filling in on bass. This video comes with a bathtub full of Froot Loops, too, so there’s that. And this just reminds me that it’s been 24 years since “Doolittle,” which is still in my top 5 of all time.

Excellent post. Keep posting such kind of info on your
site. Im really impressed by your blog.
Hey there, You have performed a great job. I will definitely digg it and personally recommend to my friends.
I am sure they will be benefited from this site.
The release said she was gone before the track was finished and Dubs, who played on Frank Black tours, was in. Possible they used tracks with Kim on them- yes, sounds like she’s in there.
This was definitely recorded before Kim left. I’m a huge Pixes fan and honestly, I’m not diggin this new track. Hopefully they continue to release new material…
Those backing vocals sound an awful lot like Kim Deal though…
