New Pictures Show Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver in Action in AGE OF ULTRON

Avengers: Age of Ultron pictures are flying as fast as Hawkeye’s arrows lately. A big batch of photos from filming in Aosta, Italy have appeared via Getty Images, and they offer some attractive clear shots of Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. We’ve seen glimpses of the brother and sister duo in production art in Marvel: Assembling a Universe, and some lower quality pics of Hawkeye in the Avengers sequel, but nothing like these images.

Besides the fact that it’s cool to see full photos of the characters, it’s intriguing to see them in scenes together. Hawkeye, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver form the second generation of the Avengers in the comics. Though we don’t know if Age of Ultron will follow any of that history, these pictures could be a hint.

Keep an eye out for director Joss Whedon as you scroll through the photos.

Uh, is it May 1, 2015 yet?

That Quicksilver looks a hell of a lot better than the DoFP version. #InJossWeTrust

This Quicksilver looks way too silly. He looks like Balki Bartokomous had a baby with Stewart from MadTV. Costume is silly too, but I sure as hell am not gonna miss this movie. I like the look and anger conveyed by the X-Men Days of Future Past Quicksilver. He was always a ‘not-fucking-around’ kinda guy to begin with. Saying that, though, I really actually enjoy when comic movies don’t follow the comics to the T. This way, there will always be a little bit of uncertainty with the story. Who wants to know exactly what happens next? Just read the comic again if that’s the case. Fanboys that get upset about movies not being exactly the same as the comics obviously don’t understand Hollywood or writers.
