New MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA Gameplay Looks Out of This Galaxy (Literally)

As expected, brand new gameplay footage for Mass Effect: Andromeda was revealed near the very end of the 2016 Game Awards, and it took our breath away. The new clip gave us a good look at the combat, exploration, and powers that looked out-of-this-galaxy to say the least. Feast your eyes on the video above.

First and most obvious, the game looks stunning. The alien lands look crisp, the worlds we got to take a brief peek at look as sci-fi as ever, and even the combat seems a bit more frantic than we’re used to, even like Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer. The exploration of planets is looks surprisingly like No Man’s Sky, but this will obviously include the deep RPG elements that keep us coming back for more (or at all). If Andromeda includes an engaging narrative with dynamic characters like the previous installments have, we could be in for the best Mass Effect yet. And that my friends, would be spectacular.

The game is set to launch Spring 2017 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. I don’t want to jinx it, but EA has already mentioned that they’re willing to delay the game to make it the best it can be. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come to that.

Did you enjoy the new footage? Does this gameplay look interesting to you? Which of the new powers did you like the most? What are you most excited about? Is this your most anticipated title of 2017? Drop your thoughts in the comments section below!
