New MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Images Rise to the Post-Apocalyptic Surface

When the trailer debuted at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to a full Hall H crowd and then released online the next day, the reaction to Mad Max: Fury Road was astounding. In an instant, the expectations of the film (that’s been development hell for decades) went from “Oh man, is that gonna suck?” to “Take my money! Take all my money!” Now, with our anticipation at an all time high for next year, Warner Brothers has released three brand new images for the film, and all of them, including the one shot at the set’s video village, are excellent:

At this point, the studio could hold off from releasing anything else and we’d be pretty content. No need to spoil everything! The sudden peak in interest over Mad Max: Fury Road is also a prime example of why we learn we should try not to pre-judge a film in the very early stages of its production. If a movie that looks this phenomenal can come out of a production as chaotic as Fury Road’s, who knows what other films will surprise us.

Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters May 15th, 2015.
