For many fans Star Trek: The Next Generation ended too soon. Luckily, little things like cancellation won’t stop TNG fans like Mike McMahan who took it upon himself to continue the legacy.
McMahan’s popular twitter account @TNG_S8 serves as the basis for his new book, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Warped from Gallery Books, the official parody guide to the unaired eighth season of Star Trek: TNG. Was there really an unaired eighth season? No, but this book will make you wish it was a reality.

The parody guide is filled with what-ifs, faux season 8 Star Trek: TNG facts and stories accompanied by artist Jason Ho’s brilliantly amusing illustrations. Colorful images of a confident Riker and spritely undeterred Picard, makes you wish for an animated TNG show.
Well versed in TV comedy, McMahan’s credits include fan faves Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty and FOX’s Axe Cop. If McMahan’s wit hits you right in the Star Trek feels, it’s because it comes from the heart of a true fan. The man even named his cat Riker. Speaking of cats, did I mention there were cat illustrations as well? Data surrounded by space cats? More, please.
