Netflix has announced the premiere date for Season 2 of its Emmy nominated genre show Hemlock Grove, and it’s Friday, July 11. Based on Brian McGreevy’s novel, Hemlock Grove is the story of the unlikely friendship between the founding familyâs young heir, Roman Godfrey (Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd), and gypsy newcomer and outsider, Peter Rumancek (Landon Liboiron).
Season 2 continues with the town coming to grips with the shocking massacre incurred by one of its deadliest creatures. Roman and Peter are now faced with new responsibilities and the realities that come with adulthood. Romanâs relationship with his mother (Famke Janssen) is all but dead as he struggles with his unwanted Upir (read: vampire) birthright and the disappearance of his sister, Shelley (Madeleine Martin).
âI cannot wait for fans to see what’s in store for season two â it is going to blow away all expectations,â said Executive Producer Eli Roth. âNetflix has been an incredible partner, and whenever we wanted to take the story in a dangerous direction, they encouraged us to go even further – into a scarier, darker, and sexier place. We guarantee you won’t see anything like this anywhere else on television.â

I watched full season 1 a day ago, and its AWESOME! Love the pace, the characters the settings, maybe the show it’s not for everyone, but I’m glad it is for me. Addictive and intriguing can’t wait for season 2.
It’s not so much the shows fault as the books fault. I read the book and it is pretty much word for word the series.
Been waiting for this, loved the first season and was jazzed to hear about season 2 getting the greenlight.
Ha wow nice “teaser” it just shows the mom Olivia that’s it, she’s not even doing anything.
Oh no, a 2nd season? WTF… This show is very bad. Eli Roth is only good as for practical effects and everything else, should be doing someone else. It all looks cheap, the story is boring and the waste of good actors is a crime. I hope next time, Netflix will put it’s money somewhere more worthy
Peter Skarsgard?! It’s Bill.
