With the release date of June 13th for How to Train Your Dragon 2 on the horizon, and some folks really, REALLY looking forward to hearing the smooth brogue of Cate Blanchett more than anything, now’s a good time to tell you that Netflix announced new seasons of the show that bridges the two movies — Dreamworks Dragons. According to Variety, the show, which airs on Cartoon Network will have “Storylines [that] include Hiccupâs new flight suit, the secrets of his dragon blade and the young Vikingâs budding romance with Astrid.”
Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera, who voice Hiccup and Astrid in the film, continue to reprise their roles in the show that will air exclusively worldwide on Netflix in the spring of 2015.
