NERDSWAG: Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Resin Statue Giveaway

Are you ready for Halo 4? If you’re not, you only have a few hours left to get into that Covenant crushing mind-set, since the game hits shelves at midnight tonight. One thing that will help get you in the mood is Machinima Prime’s Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. You’ll see the origins of Commander Lasky, before he needs a rescue in Halo 4, as he withstands a brutal onslaught by the Covenant and gets bailed out by none other than John-117 himself, Master Chief. You know what else will get the whatever caffeinated beverage you’ve replaced your blood with flowing for the big night? How about this epic resin statue from McFarlane Toys?:

This is the first-ever Halo resin statue, and each one is highly detailed and painted by hand. It retails for $225 and can be pre-ordered here, and is expected to ship in December. Each one is individually numbered and has a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Todd McFarlane himself. “The Master Chief vs. The Hunter” statue is limited to only 500 pieces, stands at over 14-inches tall on a base spanning 13” wide by 7” deep.

And we’re giving one away! Enter our Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn McFarlane Statue Giveaway. (We were also shooting for longest giveaway name of all time, but Mary Poppins is holding strong on that one.) The official rules and everything you need to know are at that link, so go there and enter now.

It is so beautiful. I watched the series just now. I’m actually going to go buy some of the figures and start a collection of Halo action figures. I was just talking to my brother in-law who is 10 years older than i am. He has like 50 spawn figures unopened all over the wall in his man cave. I decided i wanted to do something like that and well, Halo is the only game that ever got my heart beating besides League. Anyways it is beautiful, and can’t wait to get one. I WILL GET ONE…one way or another, im gonna find ya, im gonna getcha getcha getcha one way…
