Everybody’s real excited for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and with good reason. It’s a further adventure in a galaxy we all know and love implicitly and it has new characters we’ve never met. BUT, there’s a space opera setting that we’ve been extra EXTRA missing, and one that hasn’t had a single live-action adventure… until now! Nerdist Presents its latest cinematic outing, a take on the classic Nintendo game franchise, Star Fox, the first (and I think still only) game to feature the Super FX Microchip (a thing they really hyped).
Follow Fox McCloud, Slippy Toad, Falco Lombardi, and Peppy Hare on their latest outing, this time played by real animals that we swear don’t look creepy or weird at all. And if you’re a child of the N64 generation, fear not; much of the dialogue is taken directly from Star Fox 64. Is Slippy the Jar Jar of this film? You be the judge! Sit back and enjoy the trailer for the next phase in starship film technology, Star Fox: The Fur Awakens.

Vortex was another game released that had the super fx chip.
No….
Just no.
Thank you so much for this!
Oh god! This is awesome!
Actually, Falco is a pheasant, not a falcon…
nah, he’s definitely a falcon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-throated_caracara
You’re an idiot. He looks like a Barbary Falcon to me…
Hahahaha!
I can’t even…..this is just outrageous but marvellous at the same time. If this doesn’t get picked up to be a movie my faith in the Movie industry is destroyed!
Stunt race FX was the other game. I have a copy and its not as good.
There was also Yoshi’s Island, but I think that might’ve been a Super FX2 so not QUITE the same.
