Nerdist News’ Jessica Chobot To Host 17th Annual SXSW Interactive Awards

The 17th Annual SXSW Interactive Awards Ceremony is happening this year, and who better than our very own Nerdist News host Jessica Chobot to be the master of ceremonies for the event.

JessicaChobotOf course, we all know about Jessica’s long list of accomplishments that stretch out longer than an Elder Scroll, like serving as a host/correspondent for establishments such as G4TV, IGN, the Travel Channel, Gamespot and Microsoft; that’s more than enough qualification for hosting this occasion, not to mention her work as the lead writer for the upcoming PC/PS4 title from Zombie Studios, Daylight. (Okay, we just mentioned it.)

All nerds are encouraged to stop on by as Jessica ushers us through this fun evening of honoring SXSW’s standouts in the interactive medium. The show will consist of the SXSW Hall Of Fame Induction ceremony, the Speaker of the Event award and the Breakout Trend of the Event prize. If you want to join in the festivities, the 17th Annual SXSW Interactive Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 11 in the Austin Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Austin Downtown, and all you need is a SXSW interactive, Gold or Platinum badge to attend. Hope to see you there!

  1. Hello, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in
Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to
give you a quick heads up! Other then that, great blog!

Sweet. Always loved the Nerdist youtube channel, but since Nerdist News started, I’ve been checking back daily. Love Chobot. but I also miss Broki. Where is Broki?

I really hope they offered her a better deal than they did for Adam Sessler. When they asked him, not only were they not paying him, he would have had to pay his own way to get there.

Both of them are WAY better than “we’ll pay you in ‘exposure'”.
