Nerdist News: Harry Potter Spin-Off Trilogy + Game of Thrones Giveaway!

Who’s up for a magical Monday? Well we’re giving you one on right here on Nerdist News!

On today’s episode we’re dishing on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the J.K. Rowling-scripted flick set in the world of Harry Potter, giving you a release date for the hotly-anticipated Alien: Isolation, telling you what big name in TV just joined American Horror Story: Freak Show, revealing a shocking new medical process that could actually put you into suspended animation, and giving you the chance to win a totally awesome Game of Thrones pop-up book! In other words, we’re nailin’ it.

Enjoy today’s episode, come on back for another helping tomorrow, and let us know in the comments below what you’d like to see explored in Fantastic Beasts!

EnjoyThyBurritoAlright, Game of Thrones fans– now’s your chance to channel your inner-Westeros and create a Game Of Thrones-themed Nerdist house sigil! We’re looking for the most creative designs you can muster (sort of like the one to the left), though folks who aren’t as gifted in the realm of graphic design can refer to this generator to aid them in their quest for the most creative sigil across the land.

The top five sigils will be featured on Nerdist.com and our favorite original house sigil will score a set of sleek Game Of Thrones journals, as well as an amazing pop-up guide to Westeros by Insight Editions (all viewable down below). The contest ends this Sunday at midnight PST, so be sure to send your submissions over via twitter using the hashtag #NerdistOfThrones.
