You know we’re excited about the return of Mike and Sully in the Monsters, Inc. prequel Monsters University on June 21st, and the new poster showing the guys and their classmates is only feeding that excitement. Either that, or it reminds us of our own college classmates. We didn’t go to an Ivy League school. We love the Revenge of the Nerds vibe the film is showing off so far in the full trailer and in this poster. There’s a whole new group of monster peers for our protagonists to meet and deal with.
Mixed into the class photo you can see Mike and Sulley’s frat brothers Don Carlton, Art, Terri & Terry Perry, and Scott Squibbles and future nemesis Randy Boggs. For more Monsters University check out the full trailer here on Nerdist.com and then check out their official college website.

CJ, from what I’ve read, Kelsey Grammer is suppose to do the voice of Waternoose in University. Stinks that Coburn isn’t around anymore, but Grammer isn’t a bad replacement.
It was a wise idea to come out with a prequel … I shudder to think how PIXAR can write out James Coburn’s character ” Henry J. Waternoose III ” (& has it been 12 years since MONSTERS INC was released into theatres?) ….
