NERDIST AFTER | MARVEL’S CLOAK AND DAGGER Talks Magic and Mayhem

Every week Nerdist is proud to bring you the aftershow for Freeform’s Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, Nerdist After. Join hosts Hector Navarro and Aliza Pearl after a new episode airs for answers to your questions, Easter eggs you might have missed, interviews with the show’s cast and crew you won’t find anywhere else, and much, much more.

Nerdist Editor-In-Chief Rachel Heine recovered from the episode’s incredible cliffhanger long enough to chat with Hector and Aliza about everything that happened. The second-to-last episode of the series, “Back Breaker,” ratcheted up the action and suspense even more for our teenage superheroes. They are heroes, right?

Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger showrunner Joe Pokaski also stopped by to talk more about the big news from San Diego Comic-Con: The series will be back in Spring 2019 with a second season.

Cloak & Dagger comic book fans know immediately what “Mayhem” refers to — and it doesn’t bode well. Hector and Aliza tried their best to get Joe to share all the secrets about what the teaser might mean for the show’s second season.

Later, Noëlle Renée Bercy, who plays Evita, stopped by to talk voodoo, magic, and prophecies. You know, just everyday, mundane topics. You’ll also find an exclusive sneak peek of next week’s explosive season finale that you can’t see anywhere else. Don’t miss it!
