Neil Gaiman Presents “Wayward Manor”

Neil Gaiman is one of the most renowned comic book creators, screenwriters, and authors in the world; you can now add video game mastermind to that prestigious list.

Wayward Manor is a new game, based on an original yarn by Gaiman, due to be released on PC, Mac, and Tablets in the fall; But rather us try and tell you about it, here’s the man himself to describe the project.

Here’s the official description of the game, from the folks who made it:

Set in a 1920s Victorian Gothic pastoral estate, Wayward Manor focuses on the plight of a ghost whose hope of a peaceful after-life is interrupted by a remarkable cast of intruders. Awoken from his post-mortem slumbers, our ghost must find ever-more inventive and brilliant ways to scare them away. As the ghost learns more about the living characters, he also learns more about his own death and after-life, and the danger they are all facing.

The game is now available for pre-order and the online-store offers different pricing “packages”, with some coming with pretty amazing bonus perks.

I love that one of the characters you have to scare away looks exactly like Ron Swanson.

Also, “The Man Who Came To Dinner” is definitely worth a watch – it’s crazy witty.

  3. Nicholas says:

This sounds interesting – I hope that it’s good; not every person can translate across media and literature. 🙂

Beetle…….if I say it one more time ,it might be revealed that Neil Gaiman is not as creative as he thinks he is .
