My Mom Sent Me a Folk Rendition of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Theme Song

If there’s a stereotype about white girls, it’s that they can’t rap. As much as this bums me out since I love rapping, my lack of rhythm and general swag puts a damper on my future hip hop career. We have to discover alternatives. Today, my mom showed me Kay Pettigrew. She changed a classic 90’s rap theme song into a beautifully arranged folk extravaganza!

I almost wish the title of the video didn’t tell you what you’re about to hear. I’m positive it would have taken me at least 20 seconds before I figured out she was covering I Am Legend.
