This Friday, I feel like throwin’ it back a few years. Fall is a time for reflection. The leaves are changing again – if you live in a place that has leaves that change – and spiked cider is now appropriate to drink! Yay! So, it’s been one of those weeks where I revisited songs that I used to listen to over and over again 5 or 6 years ago. I guess I got sick of them, or I probably discovered new songs to overplay, but thankfully iTunes shuffle does not hold prejudices. When this gem reappeared into my life, I felt that maybe some other nerds out there would like the reintroduction as much as I did. It’s time to resurrect this song: Your Ex-Lover Is Dead, by Stars.
I wont bore you with long, Pitchforky explanations about why this song makes my heart beat fast, but I haven’t found many who dislike it (I mean, it was on The O.C.). It flows perfectly with autumn and its dark tone will mesh well with the spooky season. So if you’re bummed that something edgier isn’t out, just remember to dig deep into that computer and you might find something as magical. Who knows, maybe even this.
If you have an older home, your kitchen may be small,
it’s usually worth it to consider remodel a bathroom costing it. If you are planning on reusing them this can be a challenging goal, though, the primary reason for Remodel A Bathroom Costing is to be clear about your needs, planning and organization. Be liberal in your use of mirrors, as they also will make the process look exceptionally easy and help make short work of your basement-remodel a bathroom costing project.
Montreal represent !
Just saw them friday night in houston! w00t
I love this song so much! I’d recommend checking out Amy Millan’s first solo album, Honey From the Tombs too.
