I had no idea what to post for this week’s track. Some pretty great albums have been dropping recently. You know, Daft Punk, The National, Disclosure, Vampire Weekend, all fantastic, but nothing out of the ordinary. Currently, I’m stuck in a very muggy, buggy and soggy Ohio, and have been searching for something of a  musical pick-me-up.

After scouring the web a bit, I found a kick-ass remix that renewed my faith in the state of Ohio and humidity in general. Magnifik remixed the song Royals by Lorde. Not that the original isn’t killer, because it is. BUT, the re-re-re REMIX, is bomb. Bomb enough to say “bomb” on an airplane and maybe get away with it if you play the TSA agent this song. They’d be all like, “Oh, never mind. You have great taste in music. You’re probably not a terrorist.” Okay, I took it a little bit too far, but please listen, enjoy, stay out of this heat, and bob your noggin to this jazzy-techno beat.
