Happy Friday, everybody! This weekâs track is brought to you by the Chevrolet Equinox, my iPhone, and Los Angeles traffic (sorry, Mom).  I come to you in a state of turmoil. Iâll blame it on a work crisis (which I may have caused). Matt Grosinger, the other music contributor, and I have vowed never to miss a “track of the week,” but he is mysteriously unable to help a sista out. His punishment will be the unveiling of his high school nickname… itâs Fro. This is why:
Awesome.
Now that weâre even, I can talk about music. Since Iâm not sitting at my comfortable desk at home, my TOTW research is limited. So, I thought it might be fun to play the shuffle game. Whatever song comes on next will be what I write about. I hope for your sake itâs relevant, because right now, Justin Timberlakeâs âCry Me A Riverâ Is blasting through these speakers. Normally, Iâd skip to the next song, but I think Obama passed a law inhibiting anyone from cutting a JT song short. Iâm fine with that.
Without further ado, the TOTW is⦠Taylor Sw– Dammit.
The Track of the Week is…Â Rosemary Clooneyâs “Botch-A-Me”? Thatâll do.

So, coming straight from the Mad Men playlist to which I subscribe on Spotify, “Botch-A-Me: is awesome. Rosemary Clooney is a Cincinnati native (okay, Maysville, KY — close enough), like myself, and her voice makes you float up into a little white puffy cloud even when people are honking at you. Itâs a song filled to the brim with fake words, yet it works and sounds as if they were conversational. Youâll feel like playing beach volleyball with your beau, drinking lemonade and bouncing around to the old timey piano.
I urge you all to play this game with me! Turn your shuffles on and tell me what your track of the week is!
Here’s the original italian version— start around 0:50 to skip the long instrumental and go straight to the song
