Music Geek Track Of The Day: ‘Repeat Pleasure’ by How To Dress Well

How To Dress Well is slipping away from music to which you’d drift to sleep, exploring a new, slightly upbeat territory. Tom Krell, the artist behind the name, managed to keep his signature swoon-worthy falsetto while channeling a sound reminiscent of Prince.

Krell has placed in front of us his own take on pop. He’s remixed his identity through this track, and it works gloriously. It’s subtle. The first 5 seconds of the track sounds like a score that could come straight from a Nancy Meyers movie, but quickly dives into the beat, transforming the romantic track into his own version of an emotional radio-hit. Listen if ya know what’s good for ya!
