Music Geek Track Of The Day: ‘Money Won’t Pay’ By Bo En

Elevator music meets dance track meets ’80s sitcom intro meets Of Montreal meets bleep-bloops meets JAZZ HANDS… These are the things I gather from Bo En’s latest single, Money Wont Pay, one of the most eclectic tracks I’ve heard in a while. On his Soundcloud page he describes himself as, “Introverted maximalist pop,” and while I’m not entirely sure I understand what that means, whatever it is, I dig.

Bo-En’s debut album, Pale Machine, is available now. Each track has as much retro-quirk as the next, and what I love about it most, is the impossibility of guessing where the music will flow next.

Side note, when I read the title of this song, the only thing I could picture was this:
