Alright, everyone, it’s Friday and I think we all need a seriously bumpin’ hip-hop track to cleanse us of these past five days and prepare us for the various ratchet/hyphy/turntup (or regular; nothing wrong with regular) nights we are all about to have.

Ladies and gentleman, I present “Boom,” by the inimitable Le1f. An inventive voice representing gay artists within the hip-hop community, Le1f has charisma that is authentic and tangibly magnetic. As in: no way you only watch this music video — shot on the set of Good Burger? — one time. Blast this right when it turns 5.

Favorite lines of this track: “Supa dupa fly with the oompa loompa kush / sittin out on koopa troopa beach gettin looks.” I am imagining Luigi being REALLY distracted by Le1f on the third lap.
