MTV’s SCREAM Adds A Little Sin (From ARROW)

A member of the Arrow cast is joining MTV’s Scream pilot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bex Taylor-Klaus, who plays Sin on the CW series is joining the Scream cast as Audrey Jensen. Taylor-Klaus will be replacing the previously-cast Amy Forsyth in the role of the daughter of a Lutheran minister in the series.

The Hollywood Reporter had a pretty comprehensive rundown of the new characters in the series and who’s playing whom, with a few familiar faces from TV mixed in with relative newcomers.

Willa Fitzgerald will play Emma Duvall, a new take on the Neve Campell role from the original. She’ll be a popular girl who turns her back on her friend Audrey after getting in good with her school’s in-crowd. The Final Destination star Bobby Campo will play Seth Branson, the school’s “hot” English teacher with Connor Weil and Amadeus Serafini playing Will Belmont and Kieran Hudson, two more students and possible corpses for Ghostface to leave as clues. The 4400 star Joel Gretsch rounds out the cast as Clark Hudson, sheriff of the town and Kieran’s father.

The pilot, current in development under The Weinstein Company, will resurrect the Wes Craven/Kevin Williamson self-referential slasher as a series. Williamson’s not involved in the series, but horror vet Craven will be executive producing, with Jamie Davis directing a script by Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin.
