Movie Morsels: An R-Rated WOLVERINE 3 and ROGUE ONE Details

You know it’s a good day at Movie Morsels when we’ve got news about Rogue One‘s main character AND an increased likelihood of Wolverine 3 getting an R rating. Plus, the latest from Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba‘s next films, and more!

Wolverine 3

Will the third solo Wolverine movie be rated R? We’ve been hearing murmurs about the possibility for a while, but now we’ve finally got some concrete evidence that Hugh Jackman may get a license to go full berserker in his final screen outing as the Canadian mutant. (We can thank the success of Deadpool for this one.) Here’s an image that Reddit user RayChaos posted after attending Fox’s Toy Fair 2016 presentation in New York…

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Rogue One

Making Star Wars claims to have found out some info regarding the character that Jian Wen (the actor second from the left in the above image) plays in Rogue One

“I’ve learned that Wen’s character is the weapons enthusiast of the group. He’s a first-class gun nut. He’s the kind of character that, just as you think he’s exhausted his potential for violence, he pulls another weapon out of his boot (for example). He probably has as many concealed weapons as he does overtly visible ones (if not more).”

The site also says that they’ve learned the name of Felicity Jones’ character: Jyn (with no surname). Granted, this could be a code name used during the film’s production to conceal her true identity. We’ll have to await confirmation.

Bastille Day

I’m counting down the days until I get to spend 10 dollars to hear Idris Elba voice a cartoon cape buffalo in Disney’s Zootopia. So if you expect me to be rational about seeing the badass Brit play a CIA agent in an honest-to-god action thriller, well, forget it. Director James Watkins’ Bastille Day, co-starring Game of Thrones‘ Richard Madden, arrives on February 19. Check out the film’s latest trailer…

High-Rise

Plenty of stars adorn the new poster for Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s classic High-Rise, including Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elizabeth Moss, and Jeremy Irons. But it’s hard to notice any of them when Tom Hiddleston stands front and center, his eyes gazing oh so soulfully at us…

Amityville: The Awakening

Finally today… What do you do when when your mom is Jennifer Jason Leigh and she moves you into the Amityville house? Well, if you’re Bella Thorne, you freak the hell out about it.
