How about the first video promo for Sharknado 3? Maybe a new character-packed poster for The Peanuts Movie? Two new TV spots for Terminator Genisys? Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

“Oh Hell No!” indeed… Syfy releases director Anthony Ferrante’s Sharknado 3 (and presumably the hell it promises) on Wednesday, July 22nd at 9/8c. This time around, the titular toothsome critters will demolish all in their way from D.C. to Florida, again challenging stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, along with co-stars Cassie Scerbo, David Hasselhoff, Bo Derek, Ryan Newman, Claudia Shepard, and Jack Griffo. Expect the usual plethora of celebrity cameos. Here’s the film’s very first promo spot…

Transformers 5

Transformers

Akiva Goldsman, who heads Paramount’s new Transformers writers room (which has just added another two names in Blackhawk Down screenwriter Ken Nolan and Geneva Robertson-Dworet), has mentioned Beast Wars as one potential subject for the next Autobot epic…

“We’ve got a work space that is beautifully production designed to be immersive with a strong sense of the franchise history,” says Goldsman. “We will look at the toys, the TV shows, the merchandise, everything that has been generated by Hasbro, from popular to forgotten iterations, and establish a mythological time line. It has been designed with a lot of visual help, toys, robots, sketches and writers and artists. After that super saturation, the writers will figure out not one, but numerous films that will extend the universe… If one of the writers discovers an affinity for ‘Beast Wars,’ they can drive forward on treatments that will have been fleshed out by the whole room.”

Suffragette

Ever wonder what it took to get women their right to fight vote? Director Sarah Gavron’s Suffragette examines that very question as it applied to early twentieth century England. Carey Mulligan leads a wildly impressive cast that includes Helena Bonham Carter, Brendan Gleeson, Anne-Marie Duff, Ben Whishaw, Romola Garai, Natalie Press, and Meryl Streep. The film bows on October 23rd. Here’s the brand-new trailer for Suffragette

The Walk

The footage we saw at this year’s CinemaCon of director Robert Zelemckis’ The Walk, based on the true story of the French daredevil Philippe Petit who walked between the World Trade Center towers in 1974, rocked our socks off. Thankfully, the film’s new trailer continues to impress. Based on Petit’s book To Reach the Clouds, The Walk stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale, Ben Schwartz, Charlotte Le Bon, Clément Sibony, and César Domboy; and debuts in IMAX 3D on October 2nd.
