Believe it or not, there was more to this weekend than Avengers: Age of Ultron, and we’ve got it right here in Movie Morsels. Check out the latest image from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with your second look at Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo! Plus, a half dozen Mad Max: Fury Road clips (as well as a new featurette), updates on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Channing Tatum’s latest projects, and more!
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz has a tradition of shooting the cast of Star Wars movies for magazine covers. It’s a tradition that continues with the cover of the latest issue of Vanity Fair, featuring Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Harrison Ford. The magazine is said to feature even more exclusive images inside–some of which will appear online today–along with a new video. The video, which you can watch below, seems to confirm that (warning: possible spoilers ahead) Adam Driver is playing the Sith warrior Kylo Ren and that Lupito Nyong’o will be playing a motion-capture character.
The Forever War
Science-fiction author Joe Haldeman’s Hugo Award-winning The Forever War was once due to be adapted by Ridley Scott. However, Scott moved on to other projects, and the rights to the book are once more up for grabs, which has resulted in a bidding war, thanks in part to the lead actor attached to it: Channing Tatum. Prometheus and Doctor Strange screenwriter Jon Spaihts is also on board.
Mad Max: Fury Road
Since Warner Brothers wants to spoil you on Mad Max: Fury Road at least as much as Disney/Marvel did with Avengers: Age of Ultron, the studio released a whopping six clips from the long-awaited post-apocalyptic sequel this weekend, along with a featurette focusing on director George Miller’s world. Starring Tom Hardy as “Max Rockatansky” and Charlize Theron as “Imperator Furiosa,” Mad Max: Fury Road rolls into theaters on May 15.

Legend
In other Tom Hardy news, we’ve got the UK teaser trailer for Legend, the biopic starring Hardy as the infamous Kray twins, Ronnie and Reggie, who blazed a trail crime through ’50s and ’60s-era London. The film co-stars Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, Chazz Palminteri, Tara Fitzgerald, and Taron Egerton. Written and directed by Brian Helgeland, the film does not yet have a US release date, but it’s expected this year, marking Hardy’s fifth 2015 feature film.

Central Intelligence
The Office and Gone Baby Gone star Amy Ryan has just scored the female lead role in Central Intelligence, the action-comedy starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and scripted by Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen, the movie “centers on a mild-mannered accountant (Hart) who hears from a former classmate (Johnson) who was bullied in high school. The guy the accountant remembers as a loser now kills for the CIA and talks him into helping thwart a plot to sell military secrets.” Ryan will play the CIA operative tasked with bringing Johnson’s character in. Central Intelligence arrives on June 17, 2016, but Hart shared the film’s first pic last week via Instagram…
