Happy Monday, everyone! We’re starting this work week off with one of the most eagerly awaited return pairings of actor and role: Matt Damon and Jason Bourne. The once and future superspy has come forth with some deets concerning the fifth film in Sony’s Bourne franchise, which will again see him paired with director Paul Greengrass. Plus, we have two behind-the-scenes featurettes from the Avengers: Age of Ultron Blu-ray, some huge casting announcements for the long-awaited Richard Pryor biopic, one final production pic from the set of Suicide Squad, and word on Bryce Dallas Howard‘s next project!
Bourne 5
According to Matt Damon, who starts production on the fifth Bourne movie next week, the true story of Edward Snowden’s whistle-blowing prompted him and director Paul Greengrass to return to the franchise they made famous…
âWe always looked at those movies as really about the Bush presidency, and so we kind of had to wait for the world to change. What does the character have to say?… Without giving too much of it away, itâs Bourne through an austerity-riddled Europe and in a post-Snowden world. It seems like enough has changed, you know? There are all these kinds of arguments about spying and civil liberties and the nature of democracy… Weâre starting in Greece, you know, the beginning of democracy, and the movie ends in Las Vegas…”
Landing on July 19, 2016, Bourne 5 will co-star Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, and Bourne veteran Julia Stiles.

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Disney and Marvel appear to be pulling out almost as many stops to herald the home video release of Avengers: Age of Ultron as they did to make sure we were all aware of its theatrical run. Our latest look at the megahit — available on 3D Digital and Digital HD September 8 and on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital SD, and VOD on October 2 — includes two featurettes: on the transformation of actor Paul Bettany into the Vision and the latest super powers in the team’s arsenal.

Untitled Richard Pryor Biopic
Comedian Mike Epps has been linked to the role of Richard Pryor in a biographical film about the late comedian’s life since 2005. But after a number of delays, the Lee Daniels-directed project is finally moving forward with a script by Bill Condon and Danny Strong and the confirmation of some other big names in the cast. Joining Epps will be Oprah Winfrey as Pryorâs grandmother, who raised him and a brother, Eddie Murphy as Pryorâs father, Leroy âBuck Carterâ Pryor, and Kate Hudson as Pryorâs widow, Jennifer Lee Pryor, who is a producer on the Weinstein Company film.

Gold
Having finished her work on next year’s Pete’s Dragon remake, Bryce Dallas Howard has signed on for her next project, director Stephen Gaghan’s mining drama Gold. It’s uncertain how big Howard’s role will be, since the film is already halfway through principal photography, but she’ll play Kay, the girlfriend of Matthew McConaughey’s lead character, a prospector named Kenny Wells. Edgar Ramirez, Corey Stoll, Toby Kebbell, Bruce Greenwood, and Stacy Keach round out the cast of Gold, currently shooting in New Mexico.
