Welcome back to another week of Movie Morsels, folks! We’ve got a few choice items to brighten up your Monday, including the first-ever photos of a super-suited Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie on the set of Captain America: Civil War and new velociraptor footage from Jurassic World. Plus, the latest on the next Fast & Furious film, your first look at Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs, and word on a new horror thriller starring Battlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff!

Captain America: Civil War

Following our first look at Frank Grillo as Crossbones in Captain America: Civil War, photos of Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie as Cap and the Falcon in next summer’s Marvel Studios sequel have arrived online via Just Jared. While Evans’ costume looks much the same as it did in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mackie’s new suit has some added red, to bring it more in line with that of his comic-book counterpart. Captain America: Civil War arrives on May 6, 2016, and co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, and Elizabeth Olsen.

Fast & Furious 8

The Rock

Good news, my fellow Fast & Furious fans… While publicizing his upcoming San Andreas, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed that he will indeed return in the blockbuster franchise’s film. “Of course,” said the actor. “It can’t go on without Hobbs.” When asked about the potential for a solo spinoff film starring his character, Johnson replied, “We all are interested in it. I just had a big conversation with the studio. So we’ll see. I still think for me personally we’ve created a little bit of space for him in 7 and the gauge is set for what the audience will want. That’s my take on it, you know, but a lot of other people have to have input.” Fast & Furious 8 is set for release on April 14, 2017.

Steve Jobs

The first teaser trailer for Universal’s Steve Jobs (formerly titled Jobs) is here to whet our appetites. Director Danny Boyle’s biopic, scripted by Aaron Sorkin, stars Michael Fassbender as the late Apple co-founder; and co-stars Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film debuts on October 9th. Here’s the official synopsis…

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

Don’t Knock Twice

Katee-Sackhoff-in-Riddick-wide

Katee Sackhoff has slowly transitioned from sci-fi superstar to scream queen. After her roles in Ghosts of Georgia and Oculus, the former Starbuck has signed on for Don’t Knock Twice, a horror film from Caradog James, who directed the recent well-received AI thriller The Machine. Don’t Knock Twice centers around an urban legend, and concerns “a guilt-ridden mother trying to save her estranged daughter from the curse of a vengeful witch.” The film is currently being shopped around Cannes. Production starts in the UK in July.
