Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Morselers! We’ve got plenty of film trailers to help put the “Erin” in your “go bragh” today, including the first look at the new Ben-Hur and Now You See Me 2, plus the latest from The Jungle Book, Captain America: Civil War, and more!
Ben-Hur
The strange thing about the trailer for Paramount’s upcoming adaptation of the Lew Wallace novel Ben-Hur (which was previously adapted by William Wyler as the classic 1959 Charlton Heston epic) is that, unlike most recent sword-and-sandals/biblical flicks, this one doesn’t look like it sucks. Oh, don’t get me wrongâthere’s still plenty of CGI, cliched dialogue (can we please retire “Are we having fun yet?” forever), and Morgan Freeman helping his umpteenth-thousandth white person with their personal problems, but there’s a momentum and energy here that looks like it could result in perfectly watchable action-driven spectacle. We’ll know for sure when Ben-Hur rolls its chariots into theaters on August 12. Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell, Nazanin Boniadi, and Rodrigo Santoro co-star for director Timur “Let’s Not Mention Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” Bekmambetov.
Captain America: Civil War
Good news, Avengers toy collectors! Hot Toys‘ Captain America: Civil War Hawkeye figure will come with a tiny Ant-Man figure mounted on one of his arrows, so you can recreate one of the most iconic scenes in Marvel comic books, which will, thankfully, be included in the May 6 release…
In other Civil War news, Joe and Anthony Russo have shared a new behind-the-scenes video from the film’s sound mixing room. In it, you can see some new footage of the scene in which Tony Stark proposes restrictions on the Avengers’ world-saving abilities. You’ll have to watch it here, since Facebook won’t allow us to embed the video. *Shakes fists at the heavens*

The Jungle Book
We haven’t seen much from Mowgli’s upcoming encounter with Kaa (as voiced by Scarlett Johansson) in Jon Favreau’s adaptation of Disney animated The Jungle Book, but a new TV spot makes up for that by highlighting the untrustworthy serpent…

Now You See Me 2
The Four Horsemen face a new threat from their foe Morgan Freeman, as well as computer mastermind Daniel Radcliffe, in the trailer for Now You See Me 2, which showcases Lizzy Caplan’s new Horseman (replacing the original film’s Isla Fisher)…
Keanu
The buzz coming out of this month’s SXSW on Key and Peele’s feature film debut Keanu has been mixed. But that’s not going to stop us from enjoying this latest poster from the film, featuring the titular kitten and the comedic duo…
Life on the Road
Finally today… Funnyman Ricky Gervais asks fans to vote on one of two movie posters for his Office spin-off Life on the Road, featuring the immortal David Brent. I’m still unsure about how effectively Gervais’ hilariously repulsive office manager will draw laughs without a room full of employees reacting to his every utterance. But I can’t wait to find out…
Here are a couple of poster ideas for #LifeOnTheRoad. Which one do you like the most?
