Motorized Needler Replica is Perfect for HALO 5: GUARDIANS Cosplay

Did you absolutely love Halo 5: Guardians? Have you been wanting to take your John-117 cosplay to the next level? Well, NECA Toys may have the thing for you. In collaboration with Microsoft and 343i, the toy company has created a beautiful, Spartan-sized replica of Halo‘s Needler. We’ve seen some pretty sweet replicas before, but the motorized aspect is really special. (And no, it doesn’t actually shoot any projectiles.) The Covenant weapon retracts the protruding needles when you pull the trigger, includes the sound effects, and lights up to complete the package. Watch it in action above.

This thing is awesome. I also like that you can “reload” at the click of a button. The attention to detail is impressive, and making it full-size is also a plus. This would be perfect for those that are now fans of Halo 5‘s Spartan Locke. I’m not sure why you’d like such a boring protagonist, but hey, this would look great with any full Spartan-IV outfit. Its enormous size might also makes it great for taller people.

Unfortunately, such attention to detail doesn’t come cheap. This bad boy will set you back $300. Yeah, your wallet isn’t going to be too happy about that. There are cheaper replicas out there, but this one is just on a whole other level. It may be worth the steep price for those that love to cosplay, or are huge fans of the Halo franchise. Just keep in mind that it’s battery powered. Check out the NECA Toys site to nab one.

Are you guys willing to fork over the required large sum of money for this rad replica? Let us know in the comments below.
