Into Darkness is really good. The more you watch, the better it gets as a piece of Star Trek.
Minor quibbles, still really awesome.
Section 31…
Holy Shit…I think this episode make me like Into Darkness a lot more. Or deepened my appreciation for navigating that chasm from script to screen. Great conversation. Thanks, guys!
Yes, a great episode! I have loved sharing Star Trek in all its incarnations with Matt,Zach & w/ Voyager even Ashley got on board. Matt was right about it being a part of our lives. We talk & text about the podcasts and the episodes. Its like the old classic rock song, “Teach Your Children.” The singers predict that we will both teach and learn from our kids when we see what values they picked–the ones we will know by -and how it will make us cry. After speaking him today about these things and more, I did just that. Thank you both of being part of our family as we debate, laugh, and thrill at every warp trail! Love you Matt!
Why has no one else commented on this amazing episode?
Im only 27 so i dont feel i have the right to comment on Star Trek. My father though raised me on OTS then TNG my personal favorite was Voyager. I loved Tom Paris because i could relate to him. I also have a strong love for the originals, and the movies. 4 was always my favorite growing up. This podcast has been amazing, and a great time for my father and I to bond. I just wanted to comment on this supplemental and say that i love the new movies. I understand the problems trekies have with them, and i have the same problems. Yet i still love them. Thanx for all the hard work! You guys are amasing! And your guests!
