MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS Comes Back To Comics in January 2016

Comic fans, it’s Morphin’ time again! Boom! Studios has officially revealed that the new Mighty Moprhin Power Rangers comic will debut in January 2016. And while Power Rangers comics have been published before by Marvel and smaller press companies, the Boom! Studios Power Rangers relaunch is the biggest comic book push that the franchise has had in a long time.

Nightwing and Batman Eternal writer Kyle Higgins has been signed to pen the Power Rangers ongoing series, although the artist has not yet been announced. The series will begin with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers # 0, which will also include the one-page short stories written by Mairghread Scott (Transformers: Windblade) and artist Daniel Bayliss (Translucid) that were given away back in July at San Diego Comic Con.

These are are also the characters that will be featured in the Power Rangers reboot film that Lionsgate has slated for January 2017.

Boom! Studios has released all seven covers of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers # 0 by artist Goñi Montes, which you can see in our gallery below!
