There’s nothing like flipping through a gallery of imaginative and well-executed fan art to make your day better, and Michael Bisparulz’s collection of illustrations has that effect and then some. He has two dozen pages filled with beautiful fan art and original designs in his DeviantArt gallery. I wouldn’t mind hanging them on my walls or seeing his work collected in a book. While his drawing skills are top notch, his coloring abilities especially catch my eye. He uses varying palettes and tones, and they’re all shaded wonderfully.

He tackles some fan favorites like Adventure Time and Legend of Zelda, but Bisparulz even manages to make subjects like The Walking Dead and The Last of Us adorable. I never thought I’d find one of the gnarly Clickers or undead bodies cute, but as you can see in the featured image, Bisparulz nailed it. That takes talent. And then there are the details! Note the giraffe peeking through the trees in the back of that piece. Bisparulz applies the same humorous style to all of his pieces, and it makes them stand out.

Just look at all of this beauty, will you?

The “Guy’s Night” image with Batman, Spider-Man, Finn, and Jake out having an adventure might be my top pick. I’d love to see what Batman makes of the Land of Ooo.
