As we noted here at Nerdist, Sid Caesar passed away last week, and the world of comedy is saluting him, his illustrious comedy career, and his invaluable contributions to the art form. Most notably, Conan O’Brien dedicated most of last night’s Conan to remembering Caesar with the one and only Mel Brooks. Brooks was a friend and wrote for Caesar, and also happens to be Mel Brooks, one of the funniest people in the history of comedy.

So, if one of the funniest people in the history of comedy uses that same superlative “funniest” to describe Sid Caesar, you should probably, at the very least, spend some time watching some classic clips online (we’ve even got some conveniently curated for you here at Nerdist).
