Telltale just released a batch of screenshots from the upcoming Tales From the Borderlands, their adventure game based on Gearbox’s co-op shooter. And in them, we get to meet Tales‘ pair of playable protagonists – Rhys and Fiona.
Speaking with the PlayStation blog, Telltale producer also dropped more details about Tales From the Borderlands, which will cost you $4.99 per episode. Additionally, any loot that you encounter in the game can be used in one of the main Borderlands games. Presumably this last bit is platform-specific, although I’d love to take loot that I found on the PC and use with my 360 version of Borderlands 2.
Tales takes place after the events of Borderlands 2, and our two leads are a pair of shifty characters who’ll encounter vault hunters from the main series; Fiona’s a fast-talking con artist, according to Telltale, while Rhys is “a scheming, low-level data-miner within Hyperion who’s plotting his own grand ambitions.”
Unfortunately, Telltale didn’t drop any hints about when we’d be playing Tales, but we can expect it sometime later this summer.
