With Marvelâs Agent Carter premiering to critical acclaim, all eyes now shift to the next project coming out of the Marvel Television camp: Daredevil. Originally, rumors were swirling the new series (created by Drew Goddard and showrun by Steven S. DeKnight) would make its debut close to the launch of Avengers: Age of Ultron in May, but we now know thatâs not the case thanks to an official teaser video Marvel released this morning:
And just like that, all our calendars are now marked and cleared for a binge watch on April 10 for what has, thus far, appeared like a show we canât wait to see and something wholly different from what weâve come to expect from Marvel: adult, gritty and raw.
Also, in addition to the new video, Marvel has also unveiled a new poster for the upcoming series:
As Marvel Television continues expanding, it feels like weâre getting more and more ways to explore the ever growing Marvel Cinematic Universe every day.
What this new date also reveals is that Age of Ultron will most likely have little effect on the events of Daredevil as it wonât be releasing for nearly a month after the series airs. And if thereâs one thing we know about Netflix audiences, itâs that it wonât take them long to watch the entire debut season from beginning to end.
Marvelâs Daredevil premieres April 10Â on Netflix.
