Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Plan to Take Down Hive (Exclusive Preview)

Even though Grant Ward is dead, his body is still causing trouble on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. On the midseason finale, Phil Coulson thought he put Ward down for good. But now the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is fully aware that Ward, or rather, the thing using Ward’s body, has returned to Earth and is planning something big with Hydra.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back tonight with a brand new episode, and we’ve got an exclusive preview that features Coulson and his team as they formulate a plan of attack while examining Hydra’s latest move. They clearly don’t know that Ward’s new incarnation is called Hive, but Lincoln and Daisy may track down an Inhuman who has the answers they need.

As you can probably tell, the team hasn’t yet filled the void left by the departures of Mockingbird and Hunter. And perhaps more alarmingly, Daisy had a vision of the future in last week’s episode that seems to predict that one of the remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. members will die in space soon. It seems like a safe bet that will happen somewhere around the season finale.

There’s also a more immediate threat to Daisy. Hive has all of Ward’s memories, which may mean that he’ll want to add Daisy to the Inhumans that he’s been forcibly recruiting. And that’s actually something Daisy could be more vulnerable to because of her Inhuman bloodline.

What did you think about this preview scene? And which S.H.I.E.L.D. member do you think is doomed to die in space? Share your predictions in the comment section below!
