It’s been a big week for Marvel movie casting announcements, what with Gina Carano and Morena Baccarin boarding Deadpool and Kodi Smitt Mc-Phee joining X-Men: Apocalypse as the young Nightcrawler. But let’s turn our attention to TV adaptations of the House of Ideas’ comics, shall we? With its lead roles already in place, Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones, from executive producer Melissa Rosenberg, is now concentrating on its supporting cast, nabbing three more actors for the thirteen-episode Netflix series. According to The Wrap, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval are its newest recruits.
Darville (best known for his roles in The Originals and Power Rangers R.P.M.) is playing “Malcolm,” a neighbor of Jessicaâs, who finds his life intertwined with hers in “a surprising way” (possibly based on the Alias comic book’s Malcolm, who is a Jessica Jones fanboy). Moriarty (The Kings of Summer) will portray Hope, “a young girl who becomes a client of [Jessica’s] Alias Investigations.” Last but not least, Traval (who co-starred with Moriarty in Red Widow) will play a hard-nosed New York cop. The three actors will join Ritter as the titular superhero-turned-private investigator, Mike Colter as Luke Cage (whose own Netflix series arrives later this year), David Tennant as Jessica’s arch-enemy Dr. Zebediah Killgrave (a.k.a. the Purple Man), Carrie-Anne Moss as Jessica’s mysterious ally Harper, and Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker (a.k.a. Hellcat), Jessica’s radio host buddy.
Of course before we meet TV’s Jessica Jones, we’ll already have enjoyed the premiere of Marvel/Netflix’s Daredevil on April 10th, starring Charlie Cox. As for when we’ll meet Jessica Jones, though, that remains a mystery not even she can solve.

sounds like a scooby doo gang reunion of some sort
Please refrain from lumping anything Fox does in with Marvel movies. Thanks.
