Mark Ruffalo Hulks Out For A Preschooler And We Died Of Adorable

In case you were wondering if it was possible for us to love Mark Ruffalo any more than we already do, yes it’s totally possible. On Thursday night, Ruffalo was a guest on The Tonight Show and after some reminiscing about the “fun section” at the Emmys in August, he shared this adorable anecdote. Take a second and absorb this perfection. We’ll wait.

We can’t decide what the best part is: that a kid believed Ruffalo truly was his character from The Avengers; his daughter totally throwing him under the bus by telling him to turn into the Hulk for real; or the little boy who really thought it was going to happen and that he’d “break the school.” The whole thing also just reminds this writer that all the actors from The Avengers seem to have just as much fun with their characters as we the filmgoers do. Do you think Hemsworth ever speaks as Asgardians speak just for funsies? Or that Evans chuckles every time he passes someone on the left?  And who doesn’t honestly ask whether it’s Tony Stark doing interviews or Robert Downey Jr? Because sometimes it’s hard to tell!

Can we petition to get Mark Ruffalo on to more late night television? We need some more anecdotes of the Hulk and his daughter, and we need to see and hear Ruffalo impersonate more preschoolers because the rapt blinking and the higher voice are just too good to pass up.

Which Avenger do you think has the best kid anecdote that we just don’t know about…yet? Tell us in the comments below!
