Margot Robbie Does Motorcycle Stunts in SUICIDE SQUAD Set Photos

Margot Robbie is proving her mettle as an action star for the upcoming Suicide Squad and there’s a gallery full of proof below!

Robbie is clearly in Dr. Harleen Quinzel attire here rather than her Harley Quinn getup, and she seems to be involved in some sort of chase sequence involving Jared Leto’s Joker. What isn’t clear is who is chasing whom. She might very well be tracking down her most influential patient. On the flip side, she may be on the run from him. They have a … difficult kind of relationship. The public at large is still no closer to piecing together the narrative, but if the leaks keep proliferating at this rate, we may know the full story before the movie even hits theaters! It’s pretty cool to see Robbie taking such an active role in the stunt sequences, though. In one photo, you can even see her stunt double helping harness her into the bike rig.

Seeing Robbie as Harley/Harleen on the motorcycle does remind us of one awesome trend among the ladies of DC: they look positively killer while riding motorcycles. Batgirl has famously ridden a motorcycle since her days on the Adam West TV show. In The Dark Knight Rises, Catwoman made good use of Batman‘s BatPod motorcycle. Batwoman even had her own motorcycle in her recently cancelled comic book. Hopefully if Dr. Quinzel’s moto-sequence gets an action figure set, it will be her figure on the motorcycle and not, say, Deadshot or some other member of the Squad, unlike a certain Marvel character’s erasure from a recent action figure playset release.

What do you fine folk think about the action sequence? Are you excited to see yet another badass lady from the DC Universe rock an action scene on a motorcycle? Let us know in the comments below!
