I recently listened to a great Dork Forest podcast episode with Maria Bamford and (of course) Jackie Kashian that was also in a restaurant.

I think it’s interesting to hear people in this kind of environment sometimes, instead of always being at home or in a studio or something! It’s a neat insight into a little slice of their lives.

Good on you Riki for being direct and honest about your food. No one should feel like they have to eat something when they get a dish they weren’t expecting.

I recently found this podcast due to Much Ado About Nothing, which I loved. I really enjoy this show, haved added it to my podcast downloader and this episode was great, loved the conversations between Rikki and Kate. Hope you do more of these, need to check out Garfunkel and Oates as well now.

I’ve heard several podcasts done in restaurants and cafes, including some parsec award winning ones and they’ve been fine audio wise and this one was good as well.

Just because I just finished watching the 1st season of Heroes:

Riki, I would like to rent a Nissan Versa.

Sorry, it has been stuck in my head since I saw you in the scene.

I don’t think there was a dog in Neverending Story. There was a Luckdragon.

No one ever does a podcast(or anything else involving microphones) while eating, for a reason. What were you guys thinking?

I gotta say, not to pile on the topic but as some constructive critism, this episode didn’t do much for me to like the host. She was kinda rude and self absorbed and the conversation and ambient noise was distracting. Again, just being honest here, if I can’t behind a person point of view or personality I don’t want to listen and this episode made me not want to come back.
