Any and all cosplay skills are valuable, but if you’re skilled at applying makeup, you’re set. You can make yourself look like other characters without a mask. We’ve recently seen a woman who changed herself into a White Walker, and now we’ve come across another makeup artist who can transform with the help of shadows, powders, and brushes. Katherine Murphy of Drouin, Australia, became four different characters from Game of Thrones: Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Khal Drogo, and Daenerys Targaryen.

This is how she looks in everyday makeup:

Her weapons and tools include all the items you see in the below picture. She has Cersei’s necklace, a Khal Drogo hair piece, a Daenerys wig, foundations, brushes, blush, and pots of lip gloss. It’s hard to see all the products, but it doesn’t seem like there’s any face paint on the table – just cosmetics.

Murphy told Express she chose characters from the first season who were key players or memorable. “Each of the four characters needed to be not too similar in appearance, with differences in hair, eye and skin colours, be of either gender, some including facial hair and interesting in appearance.” The hardest look for her to recreate was Dany’s simply because Emilia Clarke’s face is so different from her own. Murphy used heavy contouring to get a closer match.

She also had to use intense shading to build up layers to become Khal Drogo:

Each look took Murphy approximately three hours.

Color me impressed.
