Over the weekend, Wizards of the Coast announced that we could expect Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015 this summer on the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. However, the publisher didn’t provide details on the status of versions for Sony’s consoles. Perhaps we can expect word on the PS3/PS4 ports sometime later this year – it would be a strange move for the franchise to switch from multiplatform to MS console and PC-only. Oh, and why hasn’t this series made its way to the Wii U yet? Sure, their online architecture can be… challenging, but the Gamepad seems like the perfect format or a little card playing action.
Wizards of the Coast have been putting out regular updates to the series since the first game’s release back in 2009, and to support 2015, Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 is half off on Xbox LIVE, bringing the price down to $4.99.
