Alright, you guys, listen: we understand it’s been hours and days since Halloween and you’re all probably over it by now. But here’s the thing: we just stumbled upon this video of a corgi dressed as a Stormtrooper from Star Wars and now everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. I mean, has the will of the Empire ever looked so dang adorable? Has it?!
Because we’re not so sure. And neither will you be after you watch Winston hold it down in the all-white armor. And while he may not strike fear into the hearts of those across the Galactic Empire, that doesn’t mean he isn’t an adept trooper. No, if anything, this makes him even better at the job because he’s so unassuming. I mean, c’mon, are you going to say no to scratching the wee belly of this pooch, even if you were a Han Solo or Chewbacca type just lookin’ to nerf-herder it out of there? No, you’re not—and that’s exactly when Winston would strike.
If we’re being honest this might be the most brilliant Stormtrooper development in decades, Captain Phasma notwithstanding. Hey, actually: maybe the two should pair up. Admit it: you’d watch a show/movie/short/whatever that paired Phasma with Winston the Stormcorgi and you’d love it. You know you would! You’re welcome, Lucasfilm.
