Little Darth Vader Plays ‘The Imperial March’ on His Cello

I dare you to watch this video of a little Darth Vader playing the cello and not find it adorable. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

The tiny Sith Lord in the short clip is seven-year-old Ryan, a student at the Suzuki School of Newton, who is doing his best to help us prepare/pass the time until December 18th, when Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens opens. His version of the “The Imperial March” is a reminder that while not being big on democracy and fairness and things like that, the Dark Side can still support the arts.

This little performance (the one that made me actually think, “Oh good, he has both of his real hands,” because I’m a dork) brings to mind another small, adorable Darth Vader that once showed us the cute power of the Dark Side:

Maybe I’m not the only weirdo that needs to see little children dressed as Darth Vader without their gloves so I know they have always been safe from the Star Wars tradition of hand removal. I had the same reaction here, which was, “Okay, okay good.”

We’re ever closer to The Force Awakens opening, but obviously we can expect more and more little odes and celebrations of Star Wars until then, in all shapes and sizes.

What’s the best little video you’ve seen so far in anticipation of the newest Star Wars? We would find your lack of comments disturbing, so make sure you share them with us.
