Listen to a Catchy Tune That Celebrates Free Comic Book Day

This Saturday is Free Comic Book Day! You can head out to your local comic book shop and choose from an array of titles, and then you can take them home for absolutely nothing. It sounds like a trick, but it’s for real, and it happens every year on the first Saturday in May. Amy Dallen of Geek & Sundry’s Talkin’ Comics Weekly decided to explain the magic of the event with a peppy song featuring the talented Jason Charles Miller:

She captures the basics of Free Comic Book Day, but also sings about one of the best parts about going to a local comic book shop: connecting to other readers and making new friends! The video was filmed at House of Secrets in Los Angeles, where I went to hang out as much as to purchase comics.

Tell us about your friendly neighborhood comic book store in the comments!
