The reveal of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D was an obvious highlight of the final Nintendo Direct of 2014 for many dedicated fans that’d been clawing for the 3D remake for years. After seeing the impressive upgrade of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D  back in 2011, or even the HD makeover Windwaker received on the Wii U, its hard not to imagine what your favorite entry in the series would look like with shinier graphics.
With an announcement so close to a lot of people’s hearts, it wasn’t surprising that European gamers were given the delightful news that they’d be scoring a special edition complete with a steelbook case, poster, and pin badge. While it looks like North America still won’t be scoring a super cool steel case, another limited edition bundle has been announced.
As you’ll see in both images above, the limited edition Majora’s Mask 3D bundle will come with a Skull Kid figurine. Since it’s retailing at $49.99, that means you get the game at the regular retail price of $39.99, and the figurine for only $10.00 which is a pretty good deal if you ask me.
There is still no release date as of right now, but we do know that the limited edition will be available the same day as the normal edition. If you’re interested in adding the figure to your collection, make sure to throw down a pre-order as soon as you can. These things tend to disappear ridiculously fast.

Are you even more excited about Majora’s Mask now? Do you buy into limited editions? Let us know in the comments below.
I preordered my copy on Amazon. Now it won’t even let you order it. You can only supply an e-mail for when it becomes available.
Worst part of the sell-out is that so many people bought multiple copies just to flip on ebay. So sad.
People are already flipping the preorders on ebay. Not even the physical item, but the preorder for 3x the price. Ridiculous.
I pre-ordered at my local Gamestop store this past Wednesday and it was a good thing I did. I was told that the limited edition was in fact limited and nearly sold out. As a matter of fact, the Deluxe limited edition that included a game guide book for $85 was indeed totally sold out! the Gamestop store manager expected the $49.99 limited edition to be sold out by the end of the day or sooner.
People on Amazon.com are already freaking out that the first batch of Pre-orders are sold out. Does anyone have any factual confirmation of this? I assume that since it was just announced (the Limited Edition, that is), that it will not be available for Pre-order just yet.
I pre-ordered my ultimate limited majora’s mask bundle on game stop 30 minutes before it sold out. Right after it sold out my order magically disappeared and customer services couldn’t help. It is a real thing though.
Real gamers don’t shop at gamestop. They are the WORST 🙁
So where do “real gamers” shop?
