Aw, snap! It looks like our craving for nonsensical goat mayhem is about to be satisfied today, because the new G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) in town, Goat Simulator, has officially been released on Steam today. I promise you, this is not an April Fool’s joke, this game is actually wicked fun and is liable to eat up hours of your time. Have a look at the launch trailer to get a sense of what to expect:

The game is a bit of a bugger to set up since you have to do so through a STEAM account. But once you actually get to play it…well, I’ve never met a goat made of crack before and this is probably as close as I’m ever going to get. Old guys like me can compare the sheer chaos and playability with that of the game Carmageddon. The destructive silliness level is off the charts. I highly recommend this game to help you decompress after putting up with your off-smelling halfwit of a boss for the last 10 hours. A bargain at triple the price!
