LEGO HOBBIT Game Gets a Clever OCEAN’S ELEVEN-Style Trailer

It’s time to buddy up and get ready for LEGO’s new The Hobbit video game. We’ve seen Middle-earth in bricks with LEGO’s The Lord of the Rings release, but this is a different story. Since The Hobbit is about a company of adventurers going after a dragon and treasure, teamwork is important. You’ve got to choose a partner who’s willing to get singed by Smaug!

LEGO is focusing on alliances in the game with a fun new “buddy-up” feature. Players can act as Thorin Oakenshield and his Company of Dwarves to “perform new abilities and special attack moves.” They’ve showcased the ability in a hilarious trailer for the game that puts an Ocean’s Eleven-style twist on the adventure.

Thorin’s 13 could totally take down any vault in Las Vegas. Casinos don’t even have real dragons… as far as we know. You’ll be able to join the escapades when the game is out this spring on several major gaming platforms.

Do you think Thorin is better than Danny Ocean? Let us know your feelings about that and the LEGO The Hobbit game in the comments.
