I remain intrigued by Airtight Games’ supernatural mystery Murdered: Soul Suspect, but, man, is one of the lines in this trailer introducing the serial murderer known as the Bell Killer possibly one of the dumbest of the year.

This particular gem occurs at about the halfway point in the trailer, as murdered detective Ronan O’Connor attempts to piece together the clues to the identity of the person who put a bunch of bullets in him. Whoever the killer is, they’re not shy about leaving a calling card on their victims: a bell-shaped marking which, from the feel of some of the game’s early marketing, might have occult significance.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is coming to consoles and the PC in June from publisher Square Enix.
